What – a – year!
 
From quiet quitting to record inflation, marketers all over the world managed to navigate seemingly endless business challenges in 2022. We hope you continue to see Semrush as a strong partner for your business and your goals in 2023.
 
If there's one thing I'm working on before I take a moment to recharge + reset, it's finalizing planning for next year. I'm sure we all have reasons for pause, but let's be real: 2023 will bring just as many challenges for businesses as we saw in 2022.
 
So, what does this mean for you? Before you power down, I strongly recommend you reflect on your marketing mix and marketing plan for 2023. Do you anticipate the same amount of revenue? Will you pull back on some of your paid investments? Will you continue to invest in organic—perhaps even more in organic, given inflation and any upcoming recession?
